OVERVIEW:
This course aims at developing and refining your oral skills in English. Formal public speaking, instead of casual conversation, will be the emphasis. Organization skills, as well as appropriate use of examples and emotions, and the ability to engage your audience, become very important. Please concentrate on speaking and minimize the use of other media (images, slides, videos, etc.). This is a student-oriented class and your active participation is essential for your learning. Rather than using a standard textbook, this course requires your creativity and research.
